Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using FyleMate, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use FyleMate.

2. License

FyleMate grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Distribute, sublicense, or sell the app
• Use FyleMate to violate any law or third-party right

3. Subscription & Billing

Pro Subscription

FyleMate offers a subscription with:

• Monthly plan: $1.99 USD / month (or regional equivalent)
• Yearly plan: $9.99 USD / year (or regional equivalent)
• Free trial: 7 days with the introductory monthly offer

Automatic Renewal

• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• You can manage and cancel via: App Store → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• The free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends

Refunds

Apple manages all refund requests via App Store. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund. Once Apple grants a refund, your Pro features will be removed within hours per our standard reconciliation process.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices. You'll be notified at least 30 days before any increase. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance; canceling within the notice period prevents the new price from applying.

4. Your Content

You retain all rights to your photos, videos, and other content. FyleMate doesn't claim ownership. We don't upload your content to our servers — all analysis happens on your device.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FyleMate to:

• Store or transmit illegal content
• Infringe on others' privacy or intellectual property
• Reverse-engineer our subscription / license system
• Use FyleMate on more than 5 active devices simultaneously without a multi-device license (we may suspend abusive accounts)

6. Service Availability

We strive for 99% uptime of the License Server but make no guarantees. Outages may temporarily affect Pro feature access. Local features (Vision analysis, on-device VLM, local backup) remain available without our server.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• FyleMate is provided "as is" without warranties
• We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including data loss; always maintain independent backups)
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and via updates. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction.
